Overview
When her husband is detained by ICE, Chelsea, MA resident Brenda Romero must take over his construction business, manage her family’s increasingly precarious finances and navigate looming homelessness. Along the way, she becomes a vocal immigrant rights advocate fighting for her family - and for a community in the crosshairs of a federal immigration crackdown.
