forming en route

Overview

At various paces and rhythms, a portrait of a French estuary town unfolds - a study of how light falls on a locale and its various aspects. As we wander from place to place through reflections and shadows, intermittently entering into different worlds, we notice how the activities of the inhabitants shape our experience of the environment. The people, architecture, weather, the everyday details, given equal significance in forming the landscape of the film with a dreamlike inner logic.
