Overview

The story revolves around a conflict and a settling of scores between two families: the Al-Mallah family, who possess great wealth and influence, and the Khaldoun family, who belong to an impoverished, downtrodden class. The spark is ignited when Nadima—a psychologically troubled wife—incites her husband, Khaldoun, to rob his employer, the businessman Salloum Al-Mallah. This act escalates into a bloody war, rife with crimes, turmoil, and long-standing animosities.
