Overview
In 1967, during the Summer of Love, a group of hippies embarks on a time-travel adventure under the influence of LSD. The leader of the tribe, caught up in his hallucinations, believes himself to be the reincarnation of Johann Wolfgang Goethe, who, in 1779, travelled through Switzerland for the second time with his friend, Duke Carl August of Saxe-Weimar, and visited the world-famous physician Michael Schüpbach in Langnau in the Emmental valley. During their visit, all the other hippies are also present as patients at the doctor’s health resort, each appearing as a prominent figure of the eighteenth century.
