Disco Elysium

Overview

In the decaying, snow-slushed coastal district of Martinaise, detective Harriet "Harry" Du Bois wakes up on the floor of a trashed hotel room with the worst hangover of his life and a total case of amnesia that has wiped out his name, his past, and his own sanity. Forced into an uneasy partnership with the methodical, no-nonsense Lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi, Harry must solve a brutal crime: a man found hanged in the courtyard, left rotting for a week.As the clock ticks down toward a bloody civil war between a corrupt dockworkers' union and a heavily armed corporate militia, Harry's greatest challenge isn't tracking clues through the frozen streets, but navigating his own shattered mind. To catch the killer, he must negotiate with 24 warring aspects of his own subconscience—voices that constantly argue, flitting between sheer investigative genius, absolute self-destruction, and the crushing melancholy of a world on the brink of collapse.
