Primer amor

Overview

Manolo is a young “barra brava”—a fan of the Deportivo Cali soccer club—who must flee the city with Camila, his pregnant girlfriend, after getting involved in a fight between rival fan groups. Manolo and Camila arrive at his grandfather’s house in the middle of the countryside, where they must adjust to a different way of life as the pregnancy progresses and the soccer season unfolds. When Deportivo Cali makes it to the final, Manolo is faced with the decision of whether to travel to the stadium to watch the game and follow his passion for the team or to be present for the birth of his child—a difficult choice for a passionate fan.
