Moko: Bisikan Logam Tua

Overview

Behind the beauty of the sea and the calm hills of Alor Island, lies the mystery of an old bronze drum called Moko, an inanimate object with magical powers that is believed to be able to come to life, change form, and even demand sacrifices. But for the Abui people, Moko is more than just a sacred myth; it's a wedding dowry and an "eternal debt" that can delay burial and force parents to sweat until their last drop of blood. Through Yoel's emotional narrative and the silent cries of the guardians of tradition, this documentary reveals a profound question: where is the line between inherited dignity and the shackles that cost humanity tears?
