Overview
Felix Motel (2026) Kim Martin Thomas Starring Betty Boop (1930) and Felix the Cat (1931), Felix Motel is a quasimodo remake of The Cobweb Hotel, with a heavy influence from the 1960 classic, Psycho. The Cobweb Hotel is a 1936 animated short film directed by Dave Fleischer and produced by Fleischer Studios. Animated by David Tendlar and William Sturm, the setting is said to be one of Fleischer's desks, which the spider used to open the hoax hotel. Felix Motel, however, will be set in a Bates Motel inspired setting and will feature cameos from various public domain characters that include Tweety Pie, Popeye, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, to name just a few. Felix Hotel will not only pay homage to Psycho, but will have unsubtle nods to Scream, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and American Psycho. Set around the festive season of All Hallows' Eve, Betty will check into Felix's run-down motel, only to discover all is not what it seems.
