WASHOUT

Overview

In Jamaican Patois, wash out names the detoxification process -- abstaining from or ridding the body of what's toxic. The film moves the concept inward, into the psyche, where the body feels like a haunted house. Sample-based, six minutes of asking what's been projected, inherited, planted, carried. "For those who are afraid there will be nothing left when it's over." — ariella tai
