Bad River

Overview

In the silence of a dark nice, an lone figure drives deep into an ancient forest. Without words, the story follows the journey on foot, while a black crow relentlessly shadows her. As dawn nears, the boundary of trees gives way to a cliff overlooking empty meadows and a distant village. An encounter between human and crow ignites into a powerful murder of crows diving into the Bad River. The world blurs; burning trees, shifting shadows and dancing phantoms infiltrating our gaze. When the storm passes, the crows gather in a single tree. As the sun sets, the same car returns to the village, but the traveler seems to be changer - horizon broader and strength reclaimed. This hand-drawn short animated film is an evocative voyage through the weight of unseen thoughts, the pull of the wild, and the fragile power found in embracing the unknown.
