Overview

Dou Dou’s grandfather, who had lived apart from his grandmother for thirty years, is left homeless after their old house is demolished. He thinks his old friend Chen Chunshui might rent him a vacant property, yet the man has been out of contact for nearly half a year. Forced to move into the grandmother’s home, the grandfather triggers constant conflicts after moving in. Dou Dou chooses play as an escape from the household tensions, while the grandfather sinks deeper into loneliness. When their co‑habitation strife reaches its breaking point, the grandfather leaves home impetuously, setting off alone to find Chen Chunshui’s house.
