Overview
Magang is the easternmost small fishing village in Taiwan. In the village, there is a hundred-year-old stone house facing the sea. Wen-ping grew up here and often comes back to visit her relatives and friends. "Grandma Wang-shih, the fisherwoman, was dependent on the sea to raise her six kids when she was young. The married couple, Bo-xuan and Xian, bought a stone house in Magang to settle down here because they love the sea. They all thought they’d live here till the end of the day. However, in 2018, they got notified that the land had been sold to someone else.Thereby began their long road of protest.
