Overview

Graham Ward is a 42-year-old man and a hero of the village. He was born in the village of Furo on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Gulzarum, and has lived up to this age without ever leaving the village. It would have been nice if he could have lived a peaceful life, but this village of Furo is located right next to the Demon King's territory, making it the worst-located village in history. The number of monsters coming from the Demon King's territory is not unusual, and when the Demon King's army attacks the kingdom, they always pass through this village. Graham had no desire to protect the kingdom, but he fought against the Demon King's army many times to protect the village, and if he could stop the advance even once, he would be called a hero. He has accomplished this feat five times, and stopped the advance of the Demon King's army. However, the Kingdom of Gulzarum does not know about Furo Village, which is not even on the map, and is unaware of the existence of the shadow hero. Graham was destined to die secretly in Furo Village without anyone knowing, but when he stopped the demon king's army from advancing for the fifth time, he lost one of his arms. Even though he was a hero, Graham lived in a village where he was forced to farm, and realizing that by relying his right-hand, he would be unable to move his body like before and become a hindrance. At the age of 42, Graham decided to leave the village. And he did. A hero that no one in the world knew about will jump out of the well and make Graham Ward's name known to the great ocean.
