Overview
Bill Fuller, originally from Ireland, is one of the most mysterious and influential music promoters of the 20th century. He had a Zelig-like ability to pop up at exactly the right time from the 1930s to the 70s. By the late 1950s he was one of the biggest music promoters in the world, handling acts such as Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Carmel Quinn, Willy Nelson, Billie Holiday and Johnny Cash. At one point he owned 23 music venues including the iconic Fillmore West in San Francisco, The Electric Ballroom in Camden and Manhattan's City Centre Ballroom. What's known of Bill Fuller publicly is worthy of a documentary in itself but it's what he left unsaid that will astonish and surprise audiences until the end.
