I Think I Got It

Overview

Sam is a high school senior who has written a fantasy play that he will be student-directing for his school. It's maybe not as great as he thinks it to be, but he takes it very seriously and is deeply passionate about his work on it. Through his friendships, girlfriend, and an all-too-meta obstacle in the rehearsal process, it becomes clear that his lack of communication in certain areas of his life may have written itself into this play. Through one very convoluted metaphor for his life and relationships, Sam is forced to confront his narcissistic tendencies and understand what it means to be both artistically and personally vulnerable.
