Overview

In a world where the consciousness of all things is composed of microscopic particles, Lin Ye—a youth from Lanhai—possesses an innate "spirit-attracting" constitution. Known throughout the "wandering spirit community" as a sort of "human-host motel," he spends his days plagued by possessions and the ensuing chaos, constantly forced to flee for his life. After a chance encounter with Chen Guo, a girl with the supernatural ability to subdue these spirits, he enters the Huajing Academy—a paranormal organization—and becomes embroiled in a century-long conflict against the "Jiuju Sect," an evil faction from Japan. Amidst this turmoil, he endures repeated betrayals and the shattering of trust; yet, as the "Gate of Realms" prepares to open and the entire city faces annihilation, Lin Ye uses the sheer tenacity of his mortal will to confront a "perfect clone," fighting to the death to safeguard Lanhai.
