The Sky Family

Overview

The Sky Family, is a short, mixed media film that tells the story of the imaginary family I had when I was a child, the story coincides with the recent discovery I made, that my family lack memories of me growing up. Using family archive photos, personal archive footage, animation and photo transfers, the film is combination of processes, digital and analogue, that blend together, producing a colourful, tactile, sentimental piece, highlighting the inner workings family dynamics and the experience of being the youngest child.
