Running around like mad dogs, desperately ‘building a character’, when really we’re just wildly excited by the idea of becoming someone else. Because for once we’ve exhausted being ourselves, what used to be a craving for comfort, a desire to sit alone, allowed to sit alive is now our lives. So we peel our lips back and bare the fangs, run around like mad dogs. Because once you know what it is to coexist in your bare soul, you can let chaos run through your veins.
