Overview

Antonella is 30 years old, lives in northern Chile, is a drag performer, and is deaf. After months of confinement due to the Covid pandemic, she prepares for her first solo show in the capital. Antonella, My Hands My Voice documents the rehearsal process, the journey, and the artist’s final performance. By exploring her life and experiences, we discover what it means to be a deaf person while also trying to make a path in the world of drag performance.
