Overview
A woman, frustrated by the unwillingness of her out of work husband to switch jobs, in her anxiety, falls prey to a system that commodifies women. Against the backdrop of a persuasive consumerist culture, while the man experiences conflicting emotions, she goes numb in her quest for a better foothold in life. Torn between survival and living in grace/disgrace, the emboldened woman realizes the shifting power balances in their relationship.
