Overview

Ryan, who is non-binary and transgender wants to have a baby with their husband David. The documentary follows their bumpy road to becoming pregnant and parents and the blocks they face on the road. It is an intimate portrait filmed in black and white and color. Ryan and David are very open about their struggles with the system in the Netherlands. After the birth of their baby Ravi, which Ryan carried themselves, the troubles with the Dutch system do not stop. Is society prepared for a loving family like Ryan, David and Ravi?
