This short documentary piece follows the journey of two Syrian refugee twins (age 18) who were forced to flee their country in 2013. In this social impact documentary we highlight the story of Salam and Raghad and their goals for the future. They are striking examples of not only female but also youth and refugee empowerment as they share wise words from the lessons they have learned in and out of war. The girls now live in Salt Lake City, Utah where they are studying in the fields of medicals sciences and social justice while leaving the label of "refugee" behind them.
