Overview

Japan, the Meiji 30s. Rin, a young new recruit, is scouted by a covert organization charged with stopping foreign apparitions (kaii) from making their way into the country. Against the backdrop of Yokohama's foreign settlement, she calls upon her own abilities and, together with her allies among the native apparitions, throws herself into the work of holding the line and intercepting these otherworldly intruders at the point of entry.
