Overview

Fourteen-year-old Ruriko Kanada has always liked her sister Nacchan's best friend Kyouko Watarai, but following a fight, she has not seen her in two years. When a chance encounter leads her to Kyouko again, Ruriko is enchanted by her radiant mature aura and meets up with her every week to talk about anything—from her school troubles to sharing random thoughts. But when Ruriko gets upset about Kyouko being more affectionate with her other female friend, Kyouko kisses her and claims that she looks just like Nacchan when she is troubled. Furthermore, Kyouko reveals that she had once inadvertently confessed her love to Nacchan, but she was rejected—which caused her to stop hanging out with Nacchan and, by proxy, Ruriko. Although it has been a while since they last talked, the two girls long for each other just the same.
