Atmospheres was a weekly television series on The Weather Channel. The series, hosted by popular meteorologist Jim Cantore and Mish Michaels, featured current weather news and information. Some of the original segments included "Feature of the Week", dramatic rescue stories from inclement weather; "Destinations", which highlighted exotic locales; "In The Elements", profiles of people working in extreme weather, and a unique weather story that varied with each episode. Each episode contained three local and two national forecasts. Originally, Atmospheres aired new episodes on Sundays at 8PM and 11PM eastern, Wednesdays at 8PM eastern, and Saturdays at 5PM eastern. Encore episodes aired on Saturdays at 8PM and 11PM eastern and Sundays at 5PM eastern. In January 2003, when the award winning drama Storm Stories premiered, new episodes of Atmospheres no longer aired. Reruns still aired on weekends until the end of summer 2003 when Storm Stories started airing every night. Since then, Atmospheres has not been on The Weather Channel's programming schedule; however, Atmospheres was the first entry of a vision and initiative proposed in 2000 for creating a defining signature long-form program like Storm Stories, It Could Happen Tomorrow and When Weather Changed History. Cantores new show, Storm Stories premiered the same night Atmospheres had ended.

Attack of the Show! is an American live television program that formerly aired weeknights on G4, G4 Canada Fuel TV, HOW TO Channel, and Maxxx. Episodes were hosted by Kevin Pereira, Olivia Munn, Zach Selwyn, Layla Kayleigh, Sarah Lane, Alison Haislip, Candace Bailey, and Sara Underwood. Attack of the Show! reviewed new technological items, parodies, pop culture, and general daily news, and gave previews of video games, movies, and digital media.

Australia This Week is a television business news program aired on Fridays and across the weekend on CNBC Asia. When daylight saving time is in effect in Australia, the program is first shown live across the network's pan-Asian feed at 5pm Sydney time. At other times, the program is relayed live in Australia only, and rebroadcast 30 minutes later on the channel's pan-Asian feed. It is produced from CNBC Asia's Australia studio in Sydney, and anchored by Oriel Morrison. The program serves as a review of the week's trading in Australia, featuring analysis from money managers and investors and excerpts from the major interviews from the week's editions of Squawk Australia and Trading Matters. Australia This Week premiered on CNBC Asia on 6 October 2007 as part of a major push into the Australian market by the network. Australia This Week is also part of the weekend programming line-ups of CNBC Europe and CNBC World.

Australia Wide was a rural-focused half-hour soft news programme produced by the ABC in Sydney. The programme was, up until mid-2007, produced by the Corporation's New Media and Digital Services division in Brisbane. It was shown weekdays on the digital-only channel ABC2 at 4.00pm, 7.00pm, and 7.30am, and can also be viewed at ABC Online. The program follows a daily theme covering a range of topics and issues. Earth Works, shown on Mondays, focusses on the 'real world' and environment, Gen Next, shown on Tuesdays concentrates on the interests and issues of young people, especially those in rural areas. On Wednesdays the five winners of the 2005 "Video Lives" competition present video diaries of their lives and communities, while on Thursdays Arts About showcases the artistic talents and endeavours of Australians living in rural and regional areas. Outta Here on Fridays follows sport and recreational activities. Content for the program comes from a number of sources, including reports from state and territory ABC News bulletins, reports from programs on the Australia Network, and ABC Local Radio presenters. Over summer, Australia Wide Summertime screens 10 minutes of news and weather and replaces the second section with short documentaries from a variety of sources, shown only on ABC2.

Australia's Most Wanted was a television program based on the format made popular by America's Most Wanted. It screened on the Seven Network from 1989 until 1999. An attempt was made to revive the show by the rival Nine Network after the Seven network axed it, but this format was far from successful and was axed after only six weeks. The show was often in the headlines due to its graphic crime scene re-enactments which many deemed too frightening for the show's 7:30pm Monday timeslot. BBC Breakfast is a national British morning television news programme simulcast on BBC One and the BBC News channel. It is presented live from MediaCityUK and contains a mixture of news, sport, weather, business and feature items. The programme is broadcast seven days a week, every week of the year, including weekends and public holidays. It is a department of the BBC North Group division. Alison Ford, previously the UK Editor for BBC Newsgathering, was the Editor of the programme, until her death in July 2013. Her appointment followed the departure of David Kermode to 5 News.

East Midlands Today is the BBC's regional television news programme for its East Midlands region, which covers Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland and South Kesteven in Lincolnshire. The programme is broadcast on BBC One from studios at the BBC's East Midlands broadcasting centre in Nottingham, also home to Radio Nottingham. The main transmitter for the programme is Waltham near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. The programme can be watched in any part of the UK from Astra 1N on Freesat channel 952 and Sky channel 960. BBC London News is the BBC's regional television news programme for the English region encompassing London and the surrounding areas. Its local competitor is ITV News London, which is produced by ITN for ITV London. BBC London News is broadcast seven days a week on BBC One in London and the surrounding areas, with short bulletins during BBC Breakfast, after the BBC News at One, and after the BBC News at Ten. The flagship programme airs between 18:30 and 18:55 each weekday evening and is usually presented by Riz Lateef. Weekend bulletins are broadcast on Saturday lunchtime and early evening and on Sunday evening. Lateef became the main presenter of the flagship programme in March 2006 when she replaced Emily Maitlis who left to join the BBC News channel and BBC Two's Newsnight.

BBC Look East is the BBC's regional television news programme for the BBC East region, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and north Buckinghamshire. The programme began on 5 October 1959, making it the BBC's longest-running regional news programme. Look East is broadcast from BBC East's headquarters at The Forum, Norwich. Prior to 29 September 2003, the programme aired from studios in St Catherine's Close, Norwich. In 1997 Look East launched the sub-regional service, Close Up, for viewers covered by the Sandy Heath transmitting station and its relays. The opt-out allows the two sub-regions to provide, during the main evening programme, around 10 minutes of news more relevant to their area. After the BBC News at Ten on weeknights, both the East and West of the region receive fully separate editions of Look East from Norwich and Cambridge respectively.

BBC Look North is the BBC's TV news service for East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, produced by BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The programmes are produced and broadcast from the BBC Broadcasting Centre at Queens Court in Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire with reporters also based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire and Lincoln. Peter Levy regularly presents the programme during weekday evenings at 6:30 with weekends, nights and bulletins on Daybreak covered by others from the news team. The weather presenters include Paul Hudson, Keeley Donovan, Lisa Gallagher. The programme can be watched in any part of the UK from Astra 1N on Freesat channel 967 and Sky channel 957, and in select areas on Virgin Media channel 858.
