They specialize in fashion, styling, graphic design both in techniques as well as business. Every year they make a new student recruitment video with a tag line. For 2018, the video was animated with the tag line Suki na Koto dake wa, Shindemo Hanasu na★.

In a mixture of cut-out and hand-drawn animation techniques, Tanaami jumbles together symbols of American consumer culture –such as Coca Cola, Superman, Space Age astronauts and hamburgers– with occasional Japanese iconography, such as the squat toilet. The frenetic pace of the animation, the catchphrases and songs on the soundtrack as well as the hand-drawn CRT television monitor that occasionally frames the images makes reference to television commercials. Clay (technically gypsum) animation set to a beat with robots, scifi motif, and alligators with human arms. It was broadcasted a year later (1991) by the Japanese TV program Miyake Yuuji no Ebizori Kyoshou Tengoku, "Ebiten" for short, which showed works of independent film makers. This has the prototype character, Pulta, which was used for Bowda Katsuhi's Robot Pulta anime when he was hired by the NHK.

One rainy day, a woman wakes up, opens the curtains, and stares at her reflection in the window, noticing her curly hair. She climbs out of bed and begins to wash it, while strange images of self-hatred fill her mind.

THE END is an opera birthed out of the collaboration between Keiichirou Shibuya, director and script writer Toshiki Okada, and illustrator YKBX. This production does not feature any humans, and replacing all familiar elements of the non-existent singers and orchestras are aria and recitative by Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid, with a story told by computer-made music and visuals. This production tests taking the traditional tragic structure of an opera asking "What is death?" and "What is an end?" and puts Hatsune Miku as the mediator to reread it in a modern way.
